Commitment to Responsible for Mineral Sourcing

At Tohm Industria Eletronica Ltda, we are committed to transparency and responsibility in our supply chain. We strictly follow the guidelines of the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT), as established by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), to ensure due diligence regarding the origin of 3TG minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold) used in our products.

Our conflict minerals policy aligns with Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which mandates companies to disclose whether the minerals used in their products originate from conflict regions. We also adhere to the recommendations of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (CAHRA).

As part of our sourcing policy responsible, we implement the following practices:

✅ Supply Chain Due Diligence: We continuously assess our suppliers to ensure that those utilizing 3TG minerals comply with responsible international sourcing standards.

✅ Secure and Transparent Sourcing: We require our suppliers to report the origin of the minerals used and provide detailed information through the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT).

✅ Commitment to Removing High-Risk Smelters: We actively work to remove and avoid using smelters and refiners identified as high risk or non-compliant with Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP) standards.

✅ Compliance with Global Regulations: Our processes adhere not only to U.S. legislation (Dodd-Frank Act) but also the European Union Regulation 2017/821 and the OECD guidelines.

✅ Supplier Engagement: We require our business partners to conduct compliance assessments and actively participate in providing information on conflict minerals.

We are committed to the proactive elimination of conflict minerals from our products and supply chain and rely on our suppliers' cooperation in this effort. If you have any questions regarding our responsible minerals policy or need detailed information about our initiatives, please contact us at [email protected].
